This short song/beat from In search of Stoney Jackson by Strong Arm Steady is one of my favourite tunes of the album… The rest of the tracks are great as well. Anyhow, this is one of my favourite albums of 2010 already, can’t wait for the Madlib/Guilty Simpson one to drop. Or the new Madvillain… 2010 is looking out to be a good year for Madlib-enthousiasts like myself!

Belgian designer and illustrator Julie van Severen makes these very smart and funny illustrations and photo collages. She hasn’t been to updatative with her blog, but her website shows some great new work. She did the design for Shafiq Husayn’s solo album, which I posted earlier. (more…)
